Greetings!  You have reached the MNGenWeb site for Chippewa County, Minnesota!

My name is Ann McRoden Mensch, and I am the coordinator for this county.  Though I do not reside in Chippewa County, my family members have lived in this county for generations.  I have visited many times, but I often find that I still need to research my ancestors from a distance.  On this county page, I have tried to gather information and links which I hope will be helpful to you as you research your Chippewa County family from a distance.

Please note:  Though the information on this web page is believed to be correct, the possibility of error remains.  Please notify Ann Mensch should an error be found, or if you have suggestions.
